Rose H. Schmollek is a pseud­onym to rep­res­ent the many unnamed indi­vidu­als who sup­por­ted this pro­ject in
vari­ous capa­cit­ies. It is also an ana­gram – the solu­tion of which is the easi­est part of this story. The book was writ­ten by the Ger­man true crime pod­caster Petra Weber from Cologne, who has pub­lished 17 crime nov­els and numer­ous short crime stor­ies under a dif­fer­ent pseudonym.

An inter­na­tion­al team of experts from the UK, the Phil­ip­pines, Fin­land, Aus­tralia, the USA, Italy, Sweden, and Ger­many sup­por­ted this book pro­ject.
