Rose H. Schmollek is a pseudonym representing the many unnamed individuals who supported this project in various capacities. It is also an anagram – the solution of which is the easiest part of this story. The book was written by the German true crime podcaster Petra Weber from Cologne, who has published 17 crime novels and numerous short crime stories under a different pseudonym.

An international team of experts from the UK, the Philippines, Finland, Australia, the USA, Italy, Sweden, and Germany supported this book project.
